A true car person, Dave started his automotive career as a gas
station attendant while in high school. After graduating from San
Jose State University, Dave worked his way up as Operations Manager
for an automotive service franchise in San Jose, California to
eventually own a chain of 8 auto repair franchises in the San
Francisco Bay area.
After finding success in California Dave was lured by a better way
of life up here in the great NW. He was operations manager for a
string of local stores and helped them grow before coming on board
with Car People. His years of experience in hiring and managing
people prepared him for just this position.
Dave is very active in the automotive community. He instructs at
Shoreline Community College (PSADA) for the Service Advisor class.
That class has also been put on through Automotive Service Association (ASA)
and directly through Car People Agency. Dave is on the advisory
board at Renton Technical College as well as the ITEC board. As a
guest speaker he conducts seminars through various automotive
functions such as the Northwest Automotive Industry Tradeshow (NAIT)
and North West Tire Dealers Association (NWTDA) tradeshows. He can
also be found as a guest speaker at most of the local technical
colleges as well as UTI in Arizona where he instructs students on
how to better prepare for an interview with potential employers. In
his spare time Dave is involved with "Auto Angels" through his
church offering repairs for people in need.

|
Brad was one of the original partners of Car People Agency in
1986 and has been the sole owner since 1994. A local native and
sociology major at the University of Washington, Brad worked for HFC
managing 3 local offices ending with their head office in Seattle.
The head office included Personnel for the Pacific NW which was a
great training ground for managing a personnel agency. He continued
with Allstate Enterprise Financial Corp. working with auto, RV and
boat dealerships providing financing throughout the Pacific NW. Brad
has been involved in setting up offices in Oregon and California and
assisting and training others to run similar agencies in other
regions.
Brad is our systems administrator and the author of most of the
editorials in our newsletters.

Started with Car People February 2008 Ann moved here
from the east coast in 1990. She settled in the area and
worked for Bayside Toyota Volvo which became Toyota of
Seattle. Then Thomason Ford Toyota as Office Manager. Curt
Warner Buick Pontiac GMC as Controller. Then Kirkland
Chrysler Jeep as Controller / Secretary Treasurer. She
joined Car People in 2008.
Ann lives in Snoqualmie Ridge. She is happily married
with two grown sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law.
And one incredibly gorgeous granddaughter. |

Trudy is our Office Manager. Her responsibilities are
varied from being a full charge bookkeeper, to managing our
custom database, updating and maintaining our web site,
building and preparing our monthly newsletter and handling
the lion's share of our phones.

History:

Started with Car People: February 23, 1987, Full time since
1994 Trudy is the backbone of our office and we are all
completely dependent on her. A native of Washington she
attended the University of Washington. She worked at the new
car dealership level for several years as well as being a
trust lead for a now gobbled up major local bank. She has
fulfilled her responsibility to society by raising two great
kids through college.

Started with Car People 2006
Jill
has a long history in the automotive industry. After graduating
Lynnwood High School she began working for GMAC in Customer Service and
Special Collections. After 8 years, she was offered an opportunity
to try the other side of the business working for Bayside Toyota in the
Finance Department. In 1991 she became the Finance Manager for Roy
Robinson Chevrolet/Subaru/RV Center in Marysville where she remained for
several years. Jill did take a side trip and worked for two years as
Finance Manager at the RV Outlet Supermall. After a one year
hiatus in Reno/Carson City Nevada, she moved back to the NW and returned
to Roy Robinsons until she joined our staff. Jill is a member of
the National MS Society and participates as a volunteer every year at
the Seattle MS Walk.
