Dave and Susan DeMontigny are now the proud owners of Car People Agency, effective September 1, 2017. The retirement of founder and previous owners Brad and Trudy Engelbrecht provided them with a tremendous opportunity – to take over management and ownership of a company Dave has worked with for two decades.

Susan manages the day-to-day operations of the company, job listings, candidate intake, accounting and billing. Susan lives in Bellevue with her husband and Co-Owner, Dave.

As a dedicated Placement Counselor with Car People Agency for over 20 years, Dave DeMontigny is now the proud owner of the company effective September 1, 2017. The retirement of founder and previous owner Brad Engelbrecht provided Dave with a tremendous opportunity – to take over management and ownership of a company he has worked with for two decades.

Dave has a depth of experience as a businessman in the automotive field. He was co-owner of eight automotive tune-up franchise facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area for almost a decade before moving to the Seattle area in 1987. His diverse work experiences as a Snap-On tool dealer and as Operations Manager for Thrifty Car Rental/Seattle retail repair division lead to his 20 years as a successful Placement Counselor for Car People Agency. For the past 15 years, Dave also conducted the Service Advisor Training program at Puget Sound Auto Dealers Association (PSADA) as well as presentations to a number of Automotive Associations and Technical Colleges in the Pacific Northwest. Dave lives in Bellevue with his wife and Co-Owner, Susan.
